KEEP, a Capitalisation tool for EU-wide promotion of Territorial Cooperation The added value of Co-operation is not clear KEEP is a mechanism for capturing and comparing projects’ information on EU level through the documenting, processing and transferring of information on co-operation programmes and projects into a common knowledge base a Definition a Goal Demonstrating and communicating the benefits of European Territorial Cooperation LOOK AT INTERREG AS A WHOLE LOOK AT INTERREG AS A WHOLE MULTI PROGRAMMES INITIATIVE MULTI PROGRAMMES INITIATIVE

WHAT WE HAVE DONE - Contacted all the INTERREG III programmes integrating their databases - Online database which will contain circa INTERREG III projects - Started the process of data-entry for every single project - Created a common framework of themes across programmes - Common criteria in order to identify examples of success (flagship projects) - Links with capitalisation initiatives carried out at EU and national level KEEP, a Capitalisation tool for EU-wide promotion of Territorial Cooperation

EXPECTED OUTPUT - Visualization of INTERREG III and ETC programmes on a zoomable clickable map - Information on all INTERREG III and Territorial Cooperation and projects (searchable database, project pages) - Statistics generator comparing projects across regions, themes, budgets, partners - A flexible news and editorial area which will link cooperation to wider themes of the EU Agenda - A document library to enable projects to upload results - A video library which wil store all territorial cooperation and INTERREG videos KEEP, a Capitalisation tool for EU-wide promotion of Territorial Cooperation

To cluster projects around common themes To enhance communication within networks of actors working on common themes To organise thematic events using inspiring projects within a specific theme To put together partners (thematic networks) working on the same theme and networking between communication staff from each project (on a programme level).
