SIMEON, AN EXAMPLE OF REAL FAITH

Simeon was empowered to wait on the Lord to fulfill His promises.

God wants us to rejoice in the miracle that He worked for Simeon

AND also use that as a motivation for us to believe the promises of God for the miracle or miracles we need in our lives!

There is a change in our attitudes, but no change in our circumstances!

Faith in God to do a miracle in our life is a CHOICE!

We need to learn God’s laws of spiritual harvest as seen in Galatians 6:

You don’t reap if you don’t sow.

Galatians 6:7- “Don't be fooled. You can't outsmart God. A man gathers a crop from what he plants.”

Are you looking for God to work a miracle in your life? Have you asked?

You reap what you sow - the law of likeness.

Galatians 6:7-8- “Don't be fooled. You can't outsmart God. A man gathers a crop from what he plants.

Some people plant to please their sinful nature. From that nature they will harvest

death. Others plant to please the Holy Spirit. From the Spirit they will harvest eternal life.”

3. You reap later than you sow

Galatians 6:9- “Let us not become tired of doing good. At the right time we will gather a crop if we don't give up.”

Notice what is absolutely fatal to the gospel and to Christian growth - quitting!

Let’s pray and believe that God will show His great power IN us and THROUGH RCBC in 2010!

And when we pray, let’s bring a bucket!!!!!
