Disney Spring Trip 2015

Why Disney Every year we take a trip that allows our talented musicians a performance opportunity that they can’t find here in KY. Every other year, we go to Walt Disney World in FL. Disney is one of the top employers of musicians. The students get to perform in front of thousands of people during a parade at the Magic Kingdom They also get to work with a professional Disney musician backstage – where they learn the recording process and get to play some of their favorite Disney tunes These are truly wonderful experiences that they can’t get anywhere else!

What is the cost? We anticipate that the maximum cost of the trip will be $600. The cost fluctuates based on the number of students going on the trip due to the bus and hotel rooms. The more students that attend, the cheaper the cost! The amount of fundraising we do can reduce costs!

What Does the Trip Include? Transportation to and from Disney on a Charter Bus Hotel Room at Disney’s Pop Century Resort (four students per room, patrolled by Disney Security guard) 3-Day Park Hopper Color guard or Band Workshop with Disney Professionals Marching in a Parade down Main Street in Magic Kingdom! Group Photo Dinner the last night and Special Seating for Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Magical Memories! Families can enjoy rooms and tickets at our discounted price ($108 per night per room. 3-day park Hopper $166)

What is NOT included Snacks on the bus to and from Disney (No Energy drinks, please) Snacks, meals and drinks at Disney, with the Exception of Dinner Monday Night Souvenirs

Itinerary Friday May 15 th (evening) – leave school for Disney Saturday May 16 th – free day in the parks Sunday May 17 th – clinic with Disney musician (or color guard clinic), plus free time in the parks Monday May 18 th – march in the Magic Kingdom parade, free time in the parks, Fantasmic dinner and fireworks show, leave for home Tuesday May 19 th (afternoon) – arrive back at school
