He was born in Röcken bei Lützen, Germany on October 15, Nietzsche was raised in Prussia which is a small village in Germany. He grew up with his father, Carl, mother, Franziska, and Elizabeth, his younger sister. At age four, Friedrich’s father died. For most of his lower education, he attended private school. In 1864, he started college at University of Bonn for 2 semesters. For unknown reasons. He transferred to the University of Leipzig. He majored in philology; literature, linguistics and history EARLY LIFE & EDUCATION

He was born from a long line of Christian males. After his father’s death, he grew out of Christianity and became “anti-Christian”. He believed Christianity was a punishment and the “universal sinfulness” and symbolized being weak. You are a miserable figure and followers should be able to “cost their belief without reason nor a miracle”. SPIRITUAL HISTORY

“Christianity was from the beginning, essentially and fundamentally, life’s nausea and disgust with life, concealed behind, masked by, dressed up as faith in another or better life. QUOTES ON RELIGION

Nietzsche’s writing, in a way, described his personal experiences and point of view. Many of his works defended women while also discouraging love and marriage. This reflects the fact that he was never married, and his defense for women came from his best friend being his sister. Also, his ideals on order reflect his very short experience in the army. NIETZSCHE’S AESTHETIC POV

In 1865 Nietzsche discovered Schopenhauer’s including his father giving him the theological background to challenge the familiar religious institutions In 1865 Nietzsche discovered Schopenhauer’s World as Will and Idea. The work forever charged Nietzsche's view on the world. INFLUENCE OTHER PHILOSOPHERS HAD ON NIETZSCHE

Nietzsche had very strong opinions on the concept of morality. He found morality to be a hindrance to the customs of man. He believed that man could not die from the fatal truth, for there are too many antidotes. He also concluded that it was man who corrupted women and created this mold for women to form into only to please men. THE ETHICAL POV OF NIETZSCHE
