 KASA is to engage KASS and KSBA in the development work of a unified set of superintendent standards and evaluation procedures and the three organizations are to work together to finalize the superintendent effectiveness system.  By December 2013, local boards and superintendents are to work together to incorporate the three delivery artifacts into their current superintendent evaluation process and document a discussion of the artifacts in local board minutes.  By December 2014, local boards are to adopt the new superintendent effectiveness system or a locally developed system meeting the same criteria that will become effective in the school year. 9
