Agricultural Education is a two-year course designed for instruction in animal science, agricultural business, plant science, conservation, landscaping, biotechnology, food science, agricultural mechanics, career exploration, leadership and personal development, and supervised agricultural experience. Students who successfully complete Agricultural Education will possess the skills and knowledge to enter the workforce or continue with formal education. Along with industry specified skills and basic academic skills Agricultural Education emphasizes the 21 st century skills necessary for gainful employment, such as attendance, teamwork, critical thinking and work ethic.
