The Challenge: Preparing Tomorrow’s Teachers to Use Technology  Two million well-prepared, technology proficient teachers are needed in less than a decade.  Future teachers must know how to use the power of new technologies to improve the teaching and learning process.

Regional Consortium The Eisenhower Consortium for Math and SERVE Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History John C. Stennis Space Center

Objectives  Prepare technology-proficient facilitation teams from six southeastern states to model technology integration in their teaching practice.  Facilitate the articulation between College of Arts and Science faculty, School of Education faculty and school districts.  Provide ongoing dissemination support.
