PMI Communities of Practice (CoP’s) – Get involved with other PMI members and project managers involved in your specific industry by subscribing to one of these groups.
June Survey Actions © 2011 Project Management Institute – California Inland Empire Chapter Room Noise Level – We are working with Antonino’s to soundproof the room and ensure that no other meetings take place next door during our Monthly Dinner Meeting. New Survey Question – Members indicated that this venue was not convenient for them. Therefore, an additional line on the survey was added to enter alternate location ideas. Suggested Future Topics - We are currently making plans to offer additional PDU events available with new topics in the future, including PMP Exam Application Reviews, Agile/Scrum Workshops and Soft Skills/Communication Skills Presentations. Resume Reviews/Other Job Placement Activities – The BOD has been trying to recruit staffing agency personnel and other volunteers to help offer this program for an hour before our monthly dinner meetings. We welcome all help and suggestions.
Outreach Committee © 2011 Project Management Institute – California Inland Empire Chapter Monthly Dinner Meeting Highlights – An will be sent out to all members after each meeting and will include the following: Take-aways from speaker presentation Summaries of new information from dinner meeting announcements Upcoming project management events at Southern California PMI chapters and other project management-related associations Identify Target Companies with PMO’s – The Outreach Committee is currently Identifying companies within Riverside and San Bernardino Counties to target marketing campaigns to increase our membership and offer more PMO-related information and services.
