 Breast cancer: a type of cancer origination from breast tissue, most commonly from the inner lining of milk or the lobules that supply the ducts with milk.

 Lump that feels different from the rest of the breast tissue.  The syndrome presents as eczematoid skin changes such as redness and mild flaking of the nipple skin.  Metastatic breast cancer will cause symptoms that depend on the location of metastasis.  Common site of metastasis include bone, liver, lung, and brain.

 Chemotherapy or radiation, or both  Generally treated with lumpectomy  Usually treated with surgery

 Exercise may prevent breast cancer  Also avoid alcohol and obesity  Being physically active and breast feeding your children
