John Dalton

Dalton’s atomic theory consisted of four parts All elements of an atom are identical. Same mass. Compounds have a consist composition. contain a fixed ratio of atoms. Each atom has its own characteristic.

Billiard ball model Thought the atom was a small giant sphere.

Education Went to a Quaker school in Eaglefield grammar school. Began teaching kids when done with school. In 1793 he published his first book.

Question Where was John Dalton born ? Name two of his family members? How many steps did he have in his atomic theory? Where did he go to school? What was the billiard ball model?
