Coach as Facilitator Create active training that replicates game environment Teach rather than talk; show rather than tell Understand developmental characteristics of age group being coached; tailor training accordingly

Training Activities to Improve Technical Activity Helping players acquire technical skill through activities with controlled pressure - adapt size of space to increase challenge - increase or decrease numbers of opponents to adjust challenge level Small group possession games; 3v1, 4v2, 5v3; can be used to teach technique or tactics Directional games for improving dribbling and tackling; 1v1 in channels; 1v1+1
