CONNECTIONS 7.1 Human Rights in the Arabic Speaking Countries

Essential Questions  What are human rights?  What is the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights?  What are the human rights issues in Arabic- speaking cultures?

Focus  In groups of 4, come up with a definition of “human rights” and give examples. Create a list of words that describe human rights. Be prepared to share you work and to post your poster on the wall!!
