The greenhouse effect is when greenhouse gases( a series of gases in the athmosphere) traps the sun´s rays when it comes to the earth, and the sun´s ray is re-radiated in all directions, making the earth warmer. Natural greenhouse effects with natural greenhouse gases are important for life on Earth, otherwise it be too cold, but human greenhouse gases are making the layer of greenhouse gases thicker, trapping more sunlight and making the earth even warmer and overheating it.

Greenhouse gases are gases around the atmosphere. The natural greenhouse gases contains carbon dioxide, methane and others.

One of the consequences of the greenhouse effect is the global warming. The global warming: Melts the artic sea ice Increases the sea level causing more floods and bigger waves. In the future there will be: More hurricanes More severe droughts Years will become even warmer Species will become extinct because they cannot not adapt to the earth´s tempature.

We can reduce emission of gases Don`t use the cars to much We can also save energy Use fluorescent light bulbs
