BRNQ is part of the Blue Ribbon Group who has been active in the Burdekin since Blue Ribbon was founded in 2000 and has now developed into one of Australia’s largest exporters of human consumption Pulses. Blue Ribbon is the largest Mungbean exporter in Australia, exporting to a wide range of countries around the world. Blue Ribbon established a dual purpose processing facility at Brandon, just north of Ayr. It was officially opened in June In 2014 we sold the facility to Sunrice and as part of the agreement with them we continue to utilise their pulse grading facility. This enabled an exciting partnership between Sunrice and Blue Ribbon to promote and service specialist cropping in the Burdekin region.
