+ The book was written anonymously but several people have come forward claiming to either known the girl who wrote it or counselor to the girl, after the book had gotten large notoriety. Although many refer to the diarist as Alice, coming from a girl the diarist meets on the street in one of the entries being a fellow drug addict.

+ Characters The main character is never referred to by name, although many call her Alice because a girl named Alice is mention briefly in the beginning in one of the entries when the diarist is in Coos Bay Oregon. She is a fellow drug addict Protagonist ( Could also be Antagonist)

+ Antagonist There could be many antagonists in this book, Jill, Chris, But I think the main antagonist would be drugs
