NCSX NCSX DCT Project Meeting Raki Slide 2 Electrical Power System DC TRANSMISSION This work is being performed per WP1118 DC Transmission (Outdoor) PDR was successfully held on 02/17/ DC Transmission (Outdoor) FDR was successfully held on May DC Transmission (Indoor part) FDR was successfully held on July BURNS ENGINEERING CO. performed the design work of the outdoor portion of the DC transmission (through BOA) and prepared the design package We completed the design work of the transmission extension to the equipments in each location. Statement of Work NCSX-SOW was generated by Henry Carnevale for the installation of the Outdoor part of the transmission including the penetrations into the buildings. MAUL ELECTRIC Co. has been issued a Sub-contract S F for installing the transmission system. Project schedule - job to be performed starting August 08 through October

NCSX NCSX DCT Project Meeting Raki Slide 4 WORK PERFORMED SO FAR DC Transmission from D to C Site was proposed in November 2000 The idea was developed further in several reviews in early Facilities Department (Carl Potensky was advised of the developments – this was to enable to perform site studies for positioning the towers When there was a consensus to the approach, under Basic Order Agreement S F, Job Order # 3 (Title 1) was issued TO Burns through FACILITIES DEPT in December This was to provide an estimate for the task Burns provided their input of estimate on January through Henry Carnevale. Facilities department was studying the route in 2002/2003 Burns were asked to perform the design work and under BOA issued Title 2 services through Facilities Department on December Facilities Dept gave input to Burns for location of Piers. Burns submitted their PDR version ( also surveyed) in early Feb.2004; ( PDR held on Feb ) FacilitIes Dept. conducted GPR on proposed locations of Piers in March/April 2004
