On March 15 th our group started its trip to Turkey and the first stop was Istanbul. Personally I think that Istanbul’s beauty is its liveliness. There we visited places like the main shopping street İstiklal Avenue, Galata tower, the Blue Mosque, the Spice Bazaar, the Grand Bazaar and few other amazing places.

Also we had a small boat trip around the Bosphorous.

After a long sightseeing on Monday afternoon we continued to the beautiful and spacious Akara. There our Turkish friends were waiting for us. On the next day after the visiting in the school we visited the Ethnography Museum of Ankara and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.

Early on Wednesday morning we headed to Cappadocia. On our way we stopped by the Salt Lake.

In Cappadocia we went to see the rock houses.

We also visited the pottery and bijouterie where we were told some interesting things about the onyx stone.

We definitely enjoyed the Turkish night.

On Thursday we visited Anıtkabir.

May 20 th was the end of our wonderful trip. I enjoyed every moment of the time spent there. I am also very happy for being part of the project and being able to meet new people and make new friends. I want to thank everyone for all.
