How you get Impetigo O It has to enter through a cut O Person to person(has to have a opening in skin) O May also get if skin is weak from other diseases such as eczema

Causes O There are two causes of Impetigo staphylococcus aureus and streptococcus pyogenes bacteria.

Signs O patch of red, itchy skin

symptoms O Red sores usually around mouth and nose that burst forming yellow crust and dry causing red marks O Most times the the red marks do not hurt but are very contagious so they must be touched; although they itch very much

Treatments O If the case is mild doctors well prescribe more cleanliness of the skin O If it prevalent around skin doctors well prescribe medication after taking sore out to get deep into the skin

Facts O 70% of cases of Impetigo are children O staphylococcus aureus and streptococcus pyogenes bacteria are harmless to healthy skin

Best way to prevent O Good Hygiene
