From the cheerful sounds of family on Christmas Eve, the holiday brings its amazing charm. The smell of homemade tamales and the green chili cooking, Christmas is here full force. Grubbing on the candy treats and sipping on the hot coco, Christmas memories are created. The Christmas tree stands tall with its decorations of silver soldiers and brown ginger bread men. Shiny garland wraps its elongated arms around the tree and the lights sparkle bright and clear. Underneath, one will see that pile of presents that stand high from the ground like a tower. Soon the sound of crunching and ripping paper will fill this peaceful time. The tower of presents will disappear in a matter of minutes. Christmas songs resonate loud and clear from the television. From "It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas" to "Silent Night," we find ourselves joining in the wonderful tones. Smiles appear and laughter brews to the fumble of words and medley to the Christmas tunes. Christmas lights the excitement in my soul and fills the heart with unwavering joy. I'm always blessed for the family and friends, and the warm of having a home for the holidays.
