Started in 1980’s with METU In 1991 SMIDO-METU Incubation Center has been established In 1996 Techno-Parks Bylaw was enacted In 1998 METUTECH and TUBITAK-MAM approved as the first techno-parks of Turkey In 2001 Technology Development Zones Law was enacted Science Park Movement in Turkey *SMIDO: Small and Medium Sized Industry Development Organization
