 Termites are insects. They have 3 body parts, 6 legs. If you think termites are small insects, they can eat your house. They eat wood.

Termite’s habitats are on the continents of North America, South America, Africa, Europe and Asia. In the United States termites are found on the Eastern seaboard.

Termites body parts are head, thorax, abdomen, 2 anitennaes, and 6 legs. The head is where the eyes are. The thorax is in the middle. The abdomen is where the legs connect. The abdomen is the stomach part.

Termites life starts as a nymph. The color is white, then a nymph turns into a worker for the king and the queen.
