Food Giant Pandas are very good eaters. They can eat 30 to 40 pounds of bamboo a day! Giant pandas eat two kinds of bamboo that are called arrow and umbrella. They eat all parts of bamboo, the stalks, leaves, shoots and roots. The Giant Panda also eats tubers, bark, bugs, fruit, honey, fish, meat and plants.
