Think about it… What does “Civil War” mean?

Today’s Question: Why did people fight in the Civil War?

Activities: Come up with a list of reasons why people fought in the Civil War. Take notes and discuss the differences between the North and South before the Civil War.

What did you see?

In teams of 3: Why would people living in a country fight against each other? Why would they sacrifice lives? Why would they send their sons into battle? Come up with 5 reasons to report to the class!
