Enterprise Flex Homepage Users will see all of the contracts that they are permissioned to Enhancements includes –Ability to see the user permission level (Configuration, Super or Contract user) –Easy navigation to contract details or to the license key generation process If the user does not have any contracts associated with their account, they will see only an error message displayed

Contract Administration – Contract Defined Field Set Up – Super Users Clicking “Contract Defined Fields” will allow user to –Define text or drop down fields per contract that each user will have to populate when drawing down a license key from the site. –Choose to make these contract defined fields mandatory More accurately track valuable/customized information for each license generated under a given Enterprise Flexible contract

License Draw Down - Product Clicking “Generate LK” will displays all Enterprise Flex SKUs that the contract is entitled to Enhancements to this page include –Ability to Search by SKU or SKU description –Both security and availability products as supported

License Draw Down - SKU Selecting one of the Enterprise Flex Family items will displays all Enterprise Options SKUs rolling up to the chosen family Enhancement to this page –Display chosen product family

License Draw Down - Pricing Selecting one of the Enterprise Options SKUs will bring up product specific questions used to define appropriate pricing for the selected product The license needs to be assigned to a specific address –New address can be created at that stage

License Draw Down - Confirmation Allows user to review the transaction before they commit to it –Displays the transaction details including the license, maintenance and total costs Ability to add user comments and additional notification addresses

License Catalog - Search Clicking “License Catalog” allows user to search for deployed licenses –User can only search licenses deployed by the logged-in user –OR deployed licenses shared with the logged-in user Includes advanced search options for more detailed searches

License Catalog – License Key Options License Key Options is a gateway to perform transactions on entitlements deployed under a specific contract –Hardware/ Address transfer –Cross Grade license –Add deployment quantity –Edit User/Contract Defined Fields –Add Comment –File Connect download

License Catalog - Transactions License Key Options Include all possible transactions for the current entitlement –Some links will not appear if the contract does not have that ability or the SKU doesn’t support it Enhancements include –Hardware transfer / Move Host allows changing Hardware for none node lock (NNL) keys –Cross-Grade Transfers allows user to perform a product cross-grade transfer –Add Quantity allows users to add more quantity to an existing NNL entitlement Generates the entitlement, the transaction and return the same license key of the original entitlement Allows user to deploy their NNL license to as many machines as they wish and to true-up

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions Can I use my Enterprise Flex funds to manage licenses deployed outside of my current Enterprise Flexible contract? –No. The funds can only be applied toward management of license deployed under the agreement to which the funds are tied. If I have license keys not part of an Enterprise Options contract, can I access them from the same place as my Enterprise Flex license keys? –No. License keys are accessible in one of three ways: License keys for licenses purchased under an Enterprise Flexible contract are manageable using the Symantec’s Enterprise Flex application, which is a password protected online application. License keys for licenses fulfilled using the Symantec License Management portal (formerly known as vLicense) are managed within that application. Any licenses purchased and/or fulfilled outside of the above, will not be accessible online. Can Symantec tell me which licenses I have purchased? –Your License Catalog contains the history of all licenses you have received by way of the License Management, Enterprise Flexible, and Symantec Voucher Center applications. At this time any licenses that have been issued to you from other methods will not appear in your License Catalog.

Frequently Asked Questions What are user and contract-defined fields? –You can use defined fields for adding descriptive fields to license keys available in your account or capturing additional information on each deployment. These fields can then be used when generating or searching for a license key. Are all products available in the Enterprise Options Program? –Both security AND availability products are available. However, please note that certain software product/families are not available to be sold as site licenses due to technology and licensing constraints. Please contact your Sales Account Manager for more information Can a customer view the remaining available balance on his Enterprise Flexible contract? –Yes. The designated super user and/or Configuration super user can view their current balance on the Enterprise Flex online contract details page.
