 Create PowerPoint highlighting 5 interesting or important Environmental issues currently in the media  One issue must be within the NW  Use “Google News” to find current articles that speak to the topics  May use a general website (wikipedia) to learn about the general aspects or science of the topic  PowerPoint needs to be 8 slides - Cover, 4 events, 1 Top event (3 Slides), Sources Objectives

 Must contain –  Who – Researchers, Organizations involved  What – Summary of the issue? WHAT is the Problem  How – did it happen? Is it being addressed?  Where – Where in the world its happening?  Why – do you find this interesting or important?  When – Key dates or times of the issue Can be done creatively or typed. Each Slide (Issue)

 Will be the last issue discussed.  Must contain multiple (3 Sources) of info.  Must discuss the “issue” – Pro’s/Con’s of what is happening  Must provide at least the basic scientific reasoning for why the event is happening or why it is an issue  Must contain all parts of the previous slide.
