Think about your experience…  What did you do?  What important lessons did you learn?  What skills did you gain/enhance?  What did you learn about yourself?

Connect it to the working world  Focus on the transferable skills/experiences  Skills employers look for:  Teamwork  Communication/Interpersonal skills  Flexibility/Adaptability  Analytical skills  Initiative  Problem solving

Create statements for your resume  Use action verbs:  Highlight the most relevant/strongest accomplishments  Think about what skills relate to the job most  Quantify when possible  Ensure tensing matches with date
