LEW = Wellness We provide supportive counselling and referrals for residents and fellows related to: Workplace issues and career transitions Health or financial concerns Need for learning supports Worries about certification exams Personal and/or family concerns We work with residents and programs to address common needs, concerns and issues

LEW = Equity If you feel uncomfortable because of the way feedback was provided to you comments made about your appearance or demeanor treatment that appears to be different due to your gender/ IMG status/cultural background seeing others being harassed/intimidated WE CAN HELP!

What Can LEW do for YOU? Listen to your concerns and help you figure out next steps Help you decide how to respond to this and similar situations Help you decide whether difficult personal and/or family circumstances are adversely affecting your clinical or academic performance

How can LEW Help? Provide counseling and coaching Clarify policies with your department and/or PG office on your behalf Accompany you to meetings arranged to respond to problems Work with departmental leaders to find ways to promote a culture of respect/collegiality for learners in your program Liaise with outside resources to find assistance for issues that you are facing

Confidentiality All discussions are held in strict confidence unless you consent to have the information shared or if the situation warrants mandatory reporting or if the situation is potentially dangerous.
