Organizing Data by:  Using Line Plots  Describing Data (mean, median,mode, and range)  Making Charts or Graphs(bar graphs,circle graphs,pictographs,line graphs)

Line Plots  Line plots are diagrams that organize data on a number line  If your data is numerical, one way to show it would be with a line plot N

Here’s a way to make a line plot.  Find the least and the greatest numbers in your set of data for your line plot.  Choose intervals that will fit your data.( arrange the numbers by 2’s, 5’s etc.what ever works best for your data)  Put an x on the line plot to represent your data  Write a title for your line plot. N
