Rules of Behavior Promote professionalism and are expected to be honored when individuals are present at any SHPE event Treat every day at NILA as a job interview Badges must be worn at all times. The Rules of Behavior will be enforced at all National SHPE activities Contents Weapons, Alcohol and Drugs Medications & Illness Damage to Property and/or Facility Quiet Hours Attendance Photograph and Video Taping throughout NILA 2015 events Equipment Policy

Packing/Dress Code Pack Business dress clothing for all conference days (Thurs-Saturday) Formal attire for the closing banquet/leadership ceremony Outdoor reception: Please bring light sweater/shawl One outfit in your carry-on luggage in case your checked baggage is lost or delayed Personal Laptop & Charger Business Cards Confirmation Receipt Dress Code No boat shoes, sneakers, open-toe shoes (i.e.: Sandals/Flip-Flops) No see-through blouses, spaghetti straps Men must wear tie

Travel Tips Arrive to airport 2 hours prior to your flight departure time Always arrive to your gate for boarding at minimum 30 minutes prior to flight departure Always carry a government issued I.D. and a boarding pass. Airlines charge a fee starting at $25 for checked baggage SHPE will not cover this expense Carry on items are limited to one carry-on bag plus one personal item. You are allowed one clear quart-sized plastic bag filled with all carry-on liquids (all liquid containers must be 3 ounces or smaller) If you have a missed or cancelled flight or connection, go to the customer service counter or the gate agent at the gate where your departure was scheduled for. As an alternative, call the booking agent, Egencia, at and find out what your options are (usually they can rebook you on another flight that day)

Booking Airport Transportation You must book your own round-trip airport transportation. Please contact Super Shuttle in advance to arrange your reservation/transportation to and from the Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) and Marriott Santa Clara. You can book your reservation online or by phone after you book your flight.
