Oracle Confidential Page 25 Built on proven technologies Based on Oracle Data Base technology  The underlying technology provides a highly stable and performant application including support for clustering, fail over etc. Based on Oracle Application foundation  The Application part adds a proven solution for handling of users, responsibility, roles and security. Using standard – not propriety - technologies  Oracle DB  Java  XML  PL/SQL Insert diagram figure to support the text. Standard Technologies Oracle Applications Oracle DB

Oracle Confidential Page 26 Workflow driven execution of Porting Processes Graphical Business Processes The business logic (activation order etc) is mainly defined in the Service Fulfillment Manager as workflows. The workflow consists of multiple parts:  One graphical design tool where the processes are build  One runtime engine where the processes are executed  One business flow monitor where the executed processes can be tracked The execution rules can dynamically change during the fulfillment and the output from one step in a process can act as input in an other step. The SFM workflow engine lets you create main and sub processes that can be reused in any different use case. Oracle NP Workflows contains 100 NP specific nodes and functions that speeds up the implementation Insert diagram figure to support the text.

Oracle Confidential Page 28 Number Porting Overview Business View  All portings can be tracked from a business view in order to respond to inquires about a porting (active or historical)  The information to be found here covers  Who is porting to who  Stratus of the porting including all date and time stamps Network View  For each porting it is also possible to see the actication view of it; every call to an affected system is being stored including the status of the call (notify billing etc.)  Information to be found here covers.  The services ported (fax, data, sms)  Activation map showing which systems have been updated and when

Oracle Confidential Page 29 Process tracking Order Follow up is supported via the Graphical interfaces that provides full drill down access from order level until the lowest command level. The same GUI provides all information about the order such as all incoming data, all outgoing data, timestamps for each step. In case of problems all notifcations/errors generated by the order can be found in one place. During the execution of an order external systems can be notified about the status of the order at regular interval. This screen is used by the back office team in order to track and resolve problems during a porting

Oracle Confidential Page 30 Summary Number portability will happen  The questions is how and what business/technical impact The experience from Sweden (and other countries) can be learnt from Oracle has a tried and trusted solution  We are committed to the industry from HLR/HSS through to GL Oracle has the practical experience and knowledge We will ensure a smooth, successful implementation with as little impact on existing systems as possible
