Leisure reading, computer use, research and group-based work are all encouraged. Playing cards and having your lunch however, are not appropriate in the school library space.  Be sure to work in a way that allows others to be productive. Cell phones, mp3 players and the like are therefore not permitted. Be respectful of others and their property. This in- cludes the library. All Lancers must be in full uniform. OPEN HEARTS. ACCELERATED READER  Read one or two chapters of the book that you have selected to determine whether or not it grabs your interest. If you don’t like the book change it right away.  You may only check out one AR book at a time. You have the novel for a two week loan period and you may renew it if you need more time to read. You will not be permitted to take an AR test if you have overdue books or an outstanding fine.

ACCELERATED READER Test Time!  When you are ready to take an AR test come down to the library and let a library staff member know that you are here for your AR test. We will then set you up on the AR designated computer and you’re all set!  There are no extra points for being fast on a test so be sure to take your time.  When taking a test you cannot go back to previous answers.  You cannot take the test more than once for the same book so be prepared!
