PTA Application form for a Bug Storeys Habitat We want to help you secure the money you need to bring this brilliant resource to your school. You’ll be doing your bit to protect British Wildlife, your children will love it and so will your teachers. How fantastic is that? Bug Storeys PTA Application Form2 What is a Bug Storeys Habitat? A unique outdoor study centre created by the children with the support and guidance of a qualifies Bug Ranger. Includes off-the-shelf teaching resources for KS 1 & 2 for all subjects you can use year round. Plus EYFS teaching resources too.

Bug Storeys PTA Application Form3 A home to insects, offering protection, breeding grounds and food (especially in the winter) It’s a brilliant way to engage, inspire and educate children across all subjects and seasons We provide lesson plans and all the resources your teachers need to achieve learning outcomes Good for the environment - pollinators and natural pesticides An attraction for other wildlife visitors (seasonal differences) Support for teaching staff – ready to use resources to achieve Key Stage outcomes An outdoor study centre. Bug Storeys is already proving to be a big hit at Moulsford School in Oxfordshire. Head of Year 3, Jennie Brown, said, “ As a Year 3 teacher and the Science teacher for the same age group I have found Bug Storeys incredibly adaptable to different aspects of the curriculum already, and it has only been here for half a term! We have had such fun populating it with bugs and the children have loved scrabbling around in the bushes and compost area searching for a whole myriad of bugs.”
