Studying in Canada Study Permit Temporary Resident Visa Work Permits Application forms and a checklist are available on the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website UIBE students should apply to the Canadian Embassy Office http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/index.asp Temporary Resident Visa Students from China are required to obtain a Temporary Resident Visa (multiple entry recommended) Work Permits Students will need to apply for appropriate work permits (off-campus, co-op work) in order to work in Canada. This step can be completed when you arrive in Canada.
