LESSON 1 SHINE GOD’S LIGHT ON DECEPTION Memory Verse: Psalm 18:28 “For you will light my lamp; The Lord God will enlighten my darkness.” Lesson Text: Acts 9:1-19

DEFINING DECEPTION Defining Deception: The act of misleading someone through false appearance or false statement. A delusion that hides or misrepresents the truth. In spiritual terms, a deception is a focus on something other than the truth.

SATAN: KING OF LIES Genesis 3:1-2 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the L ORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” 4 Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die.”
