 During the reading yesterday, Moose gives the ladies on the boat roses.  Using the flowers at the front of the room, write down 3 similes and 3 metaphors to describe the flowers

 Write 2 similes and 2 metaphors to describe bullying.  You can use the poem “To This Day” for inspiration.

 With a partner, add 1 metaphor and 1 simile to your list.  If yours are the same, come up with 2 new ones.

 As a class, let’s write a poem describing these flowers using your similes and metaphors.
