TIF/Samaritans partnership In March 2014 Samaritans Ireland launched , a new free to call ComReg assigned European number for an emotional support helpline. Through TIF, the telecoms industry entered into a voluntary partnership with the Samaritans to plan for the new number and to fund incoming calls for a two year period from March The contribution by each operator depends on call volumes. The partnership involves BT, eircom/Meteor, Three, UPC and Vodafone. Now that it is a telecoms provider Sky Ireland has agreed in principle to join. 4
