SupermarineSpitfireSupermarineSpitfire The Supermarine Spitfire was a single-seat fighter plane that was used by the British during the Second World War. It was designed by R.J. Mitchell and first took flight on the 5 th March It was the fastest aircraft in World War 2. It was mostly used by the RAF (Royal Air Force) however was also used by the Royal Navy. The plane was retired in 1961.

AvroLancasterAvroLancaster The Avro Lancaster was a British 4 engined heavy bomber plane. It was built by Avro and used by the RAF. It was designed by Roy Chadwick and first took flight on the 9 th January There was approximately 7,377 built and was the most successful bomber in WW2. it was eventually retired in 1963 in Canada.

It was a medium bomber plane and first took flight on the 19 th August ,816 were made during and after the war. The plane made in America retired in 1979 in Indonesia.
