Solar Charger Daniel Wexler Stephen Gallant
The Project Our task: To design a portable box to carry the electronics of a portable solar charger. We were given the general size and form factor of the box, then had to design it from the ground up Our client had a very rough prototype that he wanted us to improve upon.
The Case
The Electronics We needed to include a battery, inverter, controller, and microcontroller inside the case We needed to arrange them to allow maximum cooling and spacing inside the box.
The box
Inside the Box
The Front Panel We needed to create the interface that the customers would use. We had to include an AC port, a DC car port, usb, and many other connections.
