QUILT PATTERNS AND MATH Mission Statement Our mission is to communicate mathematical ideas in a variety of ways, including words, numbers, symbols, pictures and models by demonstrating the understanding of basic facts, principles and techniques of measurement.

QUILT PATTERNS AND MATH Purpose The purpose of this workshop is to assist the GED math students in completing their GED. Pattern skills 1, 4, 16, 64,,1,024 Measurements Fractions

QUILT PATTERNS AND MATH Goal The quilt pattern and mathematics workshop will enhance the student’s understanding of the use of mathematical principles of pattern making and quilt design to increase and recognize the skills in the workforce.

QUILT PATTERNS AND MATH Broad Statement GED students who scored less than 70% on measurements, fractions, and patterns math skill were identified as potential candidates for the workshop.

QUILT PATTERNS AND MATH Target Population The target population is pre GED participants’ ages years old.
