South Africa is on the southern tip of Africa. It is also surrounded by two oceans, the Atlantic ocean and the Indian ocean. South Africa has three capitals. They are named Cape Town, Pretoria, Bloemfontein. Cape Town is the legislative capital, Pretoria is the executive capital, and Bloemfontein is the judicial capital.

There are many physical features in South Africa. The major rivers of South Africa are the Orange, Limpopo and Molopo rivers. There is only one mountain in South Africa, and that is the Drakensberg Mountains. There are two deserts in South Africa. The Kalahari desert and the Namib desert. Not a lot of people live near these wonderful sights. Most people in South Africa live in the city.

South Africa was once a colony of Great Britain. It was established in 1806.

South Africa has many exports. They include gold, diamonds, platinum, machinery, and equipment. South Africa also has many imports. This includes machinery and equipment, chemicals, scientific instruments, and food materials. There are a lot of travel destinations in South Africa. These places include Cape Town, the Kruger Park, the Garden Route, and of Sun City. Cape Town is considered as one of the top 10 destinations in the world.

Lesotho is a county inside of South Africa.

There are many different kinds of people who live in South Africa. These people include colored people, white people, Africans, Asians, and Indians. The oceans that surround South Africa are the southern Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean.
