 Assisted Living provides services to seniors who are physically or mentally impaired somehow.  Retirement homes have ONLY an age requirement and do not provide physical or mental assistance care.

 Round-the-clock Medical Attention ◦ Need much help with daily tasks ◦ Severe cognitive impairment ◦ Debilitating medical problem  Cost is much higher than Assisted Living ◦ But more subsidized by govt.
