10. Australian Cattle Dog Australian Cattle Dogs are herding dogs that help with controlling and herding cattle. They are exceptional intelligent, strong, and agile dogs. They are also very loyal and protective to there master and his property.

9. Rottweiler Rottweiler’s also used to be herding dogs in Germany but now they are used more as guard dogs and police dogs. Rottweiler's are known for their keen perception, courage and unflagging loyalty.

8. Papillon The papillon dog is recognized by it’s graceful feathered and raised ears. These dogs although small are very strong and tough. They are very intelligent and can be easily trained. They can even be liter trained.

Labrador Retriever The Lab dog is the most popular dog for families in the U.S. These dogs are best known for its intelligence, affection, patience, and gentility making them a perfect dog for kids. Labs are also one of the top dogs chosen for search and rescue because they are easily trained and work good in emergency situations.

6. Shetland Sheepdog The Shetland Sheepdog is another amazing herding dog that work very efficiency. They are very intelligent, loyal dogs that are very protective over their master and his family.

5. Doberman Pinscher Doberman Pinschers are very smart dogs that can be easily trained. Contrary to the mean look of the Doberman they are actually very gentle and because of their loyal they are a great addition to a family.

4. Golden Retriever Golden Retrievers are a very popular breed because of their loving and patient nature. They are also very intelligent and can learn over two-hundred commands. retriever/
