What is the Water Cycle?

The water cycle shows how water is constantly moving!

What is Water Vapor?

Water vapor is when liquid water becomes a gas

What is Evaporation?

Evaporation causes the liquid water to become water vapor. This happens when the liquid water is heated.

What is Condensation?

Condensation is when water vapor in the air turns into liquid water.

What temperature does water freeze?

Water freezes at 0 degrees celsius or 32 degrees farenheight.

Where is Salt Water found? Where is Fresh Water found?

Salt water can be found in oceans Fresh water can be found in rivers, lakes, glaciers, and fresh water springs

What is a Current?

A current is a stream of water. They flow through the ocean.

What is Humidity?

Humidity is the amount of water vapor in the air. If the humidity is high, the air will feel sticky and damp. If the humidity is low, the air will feel very dry

What is Precipitation?

Precipitation is any form of water that falls back to the Earth. Precipitation can fall from the sky in many different forms.

What are three kinds of Clouds?

Cumulus Clouds, Stratus Clouds, and Cirrus Clouds!

Who is a Meteorologist?

A meteorologist is a type of scientist who studies weather

What kind of tools can be used to predict weather

Weather can be predicted by Temperature, Barometer, Anemometer, and a Hygrometer

What’s the difference between Climate and Weather?

Weather is the condition of the air at a certain place and time, and Climate is what the weather is like over many years.

What is an Air Mass?

An Air Mass is a section of air. All the air in that specific section has the same temperature and humidity!

What is a Front?

A front is where two air masses meet

What are two types of fronts?

The two types of fronts are Cold Fronts and Warm Fronts
