2 Filling a Rack Matrix with Solvent in Two Steps - Fast :48 Introduction This method is useful, if you want to: Dispense solvent in a rack. Dissolve solid samples that are supplied in a rack. Dilute samples that are supplied in a rack. This document describes How a complete rack or several vials in a rack can be filled with a user defined amount of solvent (Solvent from dilutor or small amounts from tray). Two procedures will be used: The first fills the syringe with the total solvent amount. The second quickly dispenses equal solvent parts into the selected destinations. Tip: Prep-Gilson always requires source and destination positions. In this case only the second procedure needs the selection of destination positions.
