Task One – Digital print over watercolour Step 1 – Choose your digital image to be used

Task One – Digital print over watercolour Step 2 – Print the image at A4 size in black and white Step 3 – Either draw freehand or trace the image.

Task One – Digital print over watercolour Step 4 – Rub graphite pencil on the back of the tracing paper

Task One – Digital print over watercolour Step 5 – Place watercolour paper under the tracing with the graphite rubbing facing down. Retrace the original drawing onto the watercolour paper.

Task One – Digital print over watercolour Step 6 – Create a watercolour image or simply a wash on the watercolour paper. Reference your digital image as you paint, considering its colours, values and shapes.
