Psalm 110 Matthew Mark Luke Acts Romans 1 Corinthians Ephesians Colossians Hebrews 1 Peter Psalm 110

The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand To us: 1 A Psalm of David. The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” LORD = “YHWH” = God’s name Lord = “Adonai” = master God Israel Nations King

Matthew 22:41-46 [NIV] While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, ‘What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?’ ‘The son of David,’ they replied. He said to them, ‘How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him “Lord”? For he says, “The Lord said to my Lord: ‘Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.’” If then David calls him “Lord,” how can he be his son?’ No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions.

Matthew 26:63-66 [NIV] But Jesus remained silent. The high priest said to him, ‘I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.’ ‘You have said so,’ Jesus replied. ‘But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.’ Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, ‘He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?’ ‘He is worthy of death,’ they answered.

Acts 2:34-36 [NIV] “For David did not ascend to heaven, and yet he said, ‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’ Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah.”

The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand To us: 1 A Psalm of David. The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” God the Father says to Jesus – the Davidic King and Messiah/Christ – “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” God Israel Nations King

Ephesians 1:18-20 [NLT]: “I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms.” Colossians 3:1: “Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.”

The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand To us: 1 A Psalm of David. The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.” Right now, Christ is sitting at God the Father’s right hand; he has not yet come back to reign on his throne as God’s anointed King. God Israel Nations King

2 The LORD will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion, To Adonai: 2 The LORD will stretch forth Your strong scepter from Zion, saying, “Rule in the midst of Your enemies.” 3 Your people will volunteer freely in the day of Your power; In holy array, from the womb of the dawn, Your youth are to You as the dew. God Israel Nations King

To Adonai: 4 The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

To Adonai: 4 The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews 8:1 [NIV]: “The main point of what we are saying is this: We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven.”

Hebrews 10:11-14 [ESV]: “…But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.”

4 The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, To Adonai: 4 The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” God Israel Nations King

4 The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, To Adonai: 4 The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” God Israel Nations King Mediator

Hebrews 7:2 [NASB] “For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham as he was returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham apportioned a tenth part of all the spoils, was first of all, by the translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then also king of Salem, which is king of peace.” God Israel Nations King Mediator

4 The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, To Adonai: 4 The LORD has sworn and will not change His mind, “You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” God Israel Nations King Mediator

5 The Lord is at Your right hand; To God: 5 The Lord is at Your right hand; He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath. 6 He will judge among the nations, He will fill them with corpses, He will shatter the chief men over a broad country. 7 He will drink from the brook by the wayside; Therefore He will lift up His head. God Israel Nations King

Jesus is High Priest: † He reconciled us with God through his sacrifice. All we need to do is put our faith in him and his deliverance. † He mediates for us before God. We need never fear God will turn against us.

Jesus is King and Judge: The rebellion we see in the world is not a surprise to him. He will return to bring justice and deliverance.

Jesus is Head of the Church: † He teaches us our purpose and role in this specific time of delay. † Only he is allowed to judge; we are to love and bring others to faith and salvation, and help them grow to be like Christ, the image of God the Father. God Church Peoples Jesus
