In today’s session we will: Discuss the purpose of assessment Explore types of assessment Examine the application of ‘paper-light’ assessment Initial planning for microteach

By the end of this session you will be able to: Identify the purpose of assessment Describe various forms of assessment Identify teaching strategies linked to formative assessment Apply at least one method of paper-light assessment You could also: Identify a topic for the micro teach Plan for assessments T6 & T7

Stages of assessment In pairs/small groups match the statements up with the type of assessment it describes.

Cross-reference or link to recordings from other paperwork: eg ILPs. Store files with centre managers. Written permission: needed if the recording is to be published / used in the public domain.
