Anzac The Anzac biscuits were the soldier's favorite food at war. When the soldier’s had no food they would send a letter to there wife’s to make some more for them. They were sent in big tin’s made of metal that could fit over 50 Anzac biscuits in one tin’s. The soldier’s were very grateful that they got the food.

Memorial’s The memorial gates in Queenstown is to remember all the soldier's that went to war and did not came back to NZ. If they did not back they would get there name on the gates.

The memorial in Arrowtown. The memorial in Arrowtown is as old as 69 year’s. It was bolt in 1945 the end of world war two. There are over 50 name’s on the memorial in Arrowtown.

Cannon The cannon in Arrowtown is 69 year old. There is a chip in the cannon ball because a boom went of in it and chip it. Only four cannon’s came back to New Zealand from world war two.

A hero at war. Margret Amy smith was a hero at war. She was a nurse in world war 2. When she was in France the hospital would get boomed on every moon lit night. But she still lived through world war 2.

What have I learnt This term I have learnt more on memorial’s around New Zealand and life in the trenches. When we made trenches in the class really made me sad for the soldier's that lived in the trenches. I would not have liked to at war time.
