©2014 Renaissance Learning. All rights reserved. Taking a STAR Reading test You will now have 34 questions to answer during the test. What will this mean for your students?

©2014 Renaissance Learning. All rights reserved. Questions The first ten questions will be as they used to be. They will ask the student to pick the best word to fill a gap in a sentence.

©2014 Renaissance Learning. All rights reserved. Questions The other 24 questions will look different. They will give students a longer passage to read and then ask them about what it means.

©2014 Renaissance Learning. All rights reserved. Taking a STAR Reading test There is a time limit to each question. A warning icon will appear to tell you if you are approaching the time limit. If a student cannot answer a question, do not have him/her guess. Let the time run out and wait for the next question to load.
