THE WILD ANIMAL SANCTUARY

BACKGROUND The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a 720 acre wildlife rescue facility located in Keansburg Co They work to rescue captive large carnivores who have been abused, abandoned, illegally kept or exploited. In the United States today, exotic animal trade is the third largest source of illicit profits behind drugs and weapons. It is estimated there are more than 30,000 captive large exotic animals living outside the zoo system today

OBJECTIVES Increase social media involvement with the “My Exotic Pet” campaign. Increase public awareness of abusive situations large exotic animals often face while living in capitation such as zoos. Raise awareness of the Wild Animal Sanctuary as a whole to increase, donors, volunteers, and awareness.
